Friday

Lie still

no energy
to chase
flies from
mommy’s face

her eyes
glass hollows
gaze at me
with love

enough to
fill my heart
and feed air into
my swollen belly

and flies feast
off mommy's face
and her eyes
are still mine

for a while
until blackened
buzzing
covers her lids

Well Sam. Impressing and Moving. Felt deeply touching and felt sorry for the mood of the poem. - At the same time glad to see a very very kind heart within. Thanking You and with Best Wishes.

Well Sam...a touching poem----- Allthings in life are temporary. If going is well enjoy it, they will not last forever. If going is wrong don’t worry, they can't last long either. With best wishes-- continue your poems and enjoy every bit of it.
